Italy will be up to global challenges
even in the face of turmoil sparked by Donald Trump's erratic
tariff policies, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said
Tuesday.
"Italy will be up to the challenges that the international
framework imposes", Giorgetti said.
"The scenario we are experiencing must inspire determination to
find adequate responses to reverse many trends in the European
financial system, such as the continuous delisting, the outflow
of capital to other jurisdictions, the undersizing of stock
markets and also the delay in venture capital", added Giorgetti
speaking via video link at the Salone del Risparmio (Savings
Show) in Milan.
