The Ambassador of Italy to Ecuador, Giovanni Davoli, took part in Eurofest 2025, an event organised by the Humboldt Association, Casa de Italia, Centro Español, Alianza Francesa and Fundación Pueblos de América with the support of the European Union and its member states (Germany, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy and the Netherlands), as part of the month of Europe, celebrated in May in Quito. The festival aims to promote cultural exchange between Ecuador and Europe.The EU Ambassador to Ecuador, Jekaterina Doródnova said that 'culture is a powerful tool to consolidate peace. At Eurofest we celebrate diversity, cooperation and mutual understanding between Ecuador and Europe. This event, which unites peoples, builds bridges of cooperation and strengthens the bonds we share'.
