A Sicilian under 17 amateur team was
barred from competing next season after attacking the ref during
a pre play-off match on April 5.
Ten players received a five-year ban for attacking the
19-year-old official, named only as Diego.
Another player got a three-year ban.
The team, RSC Riposto, from near Catania, played Pedara in the
youth championship last Saturday, when the offence occurred.
