Premier Giorgia Meloni is a valuable
interlocutor in the EU for the USA, a high-ranking American
official said ahead of her talks with US President Donald Trump
at the White House Thursday.
"We consider Meloni a valuable interlocutor in the EU, said the
senior official during a call on the visit. "The visit is based
on strong bilateral relations", added the official, also
describing Meloni as "a strong force in the EU".
