US Vice President JD Vance on Friday
arrived at St. Peter's Basilica where he will participate in the
Good Friday rite, the Passion of the Lord.
Presiding over the celebration, delegated by the Pope, is
Cardinal Claudio Gugerotti.
Vance and his wife Usha are practising Catholics.
They took their two young children with them.
