"It's clear there was a political
mandate for the U.S. administration to take action, so any
negotiations before Liberation Day couldn't have changed things.
I believe it's essential that we now speak with the United
States again and show them how things are," said Czech Foreign
Minister Jan Lipavsky in an interview with Politico, emphasizing
the need to "continue" negotiations with Washington.
Taking a conciliatory stance, the Czech minister also said he
supports buying more gas from the U.S. to address Donald Trump's
demands. "It's a good proposal," Lipavsky emphasized.
