Vera Jourova (R), EU Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and
Gender Equality, visits an exhibition on the sidelines of a
press conference on the 2014 results of the European Rapid Alert
System for Dangerous Products, at the EU Commission headquarters
in Brussels, Belgium, 23 March 2015. European Commission
published figures showing that in 2014, nearly 2500 products
were either stopped before they entered the EU or removed from
markets because they were dangerous for EU consumers.
