On the occasion of the eighth Day of Italian Research in the World, the Italian Embassy in Sarajevo organised an online seminar with the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE) and the local association BH Academy, a networking platform dedicated to the Bosnian-Herzegovinian scientific community at home and abroad.
During the meeting, APRE - represented by Mathilde De Bonis, Head of the Training Unit - had the opportunity to deepen its work and the opportunities offered by European funds such as Horizon Europe, with the aim of exploring the structure of the R&I system in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to facilitate the dissemination in the relevant networks of the knowledge of opportunities for mutual collaboration, also in the light of the research situation in the Balkan country, illustrated in detail by BH Academy.
The Day of Italian Research in the World was launched by MAECI in 2018 with the aim of enhancing the contribution of Italian researchers to science at the international level and promoting the dissemination of the results of their research.
