The Georgian capital, as part of the second edition of the 'Betsson: Crossroads - Sports Storytelling Forum', which saw the participation of some great footballers, including one of the best goalkeepers in the history of football, Edwin van der Sar, who was the first foreign goalkeeper of the Turin club Juventus for two years, became a stop on the 'Trophy Tour' for a few days. Mootaz Chehade, representative of the Lega Serie A, brought the famous Scudetto cup, the trophy awarded annually to the winning football club of the Italian Serie A championship, to Tbilisi.
Similarly to the 'Derby d'Italia', a match was also organised between young Georgian players (U11) from the Inter Academy Georgia, the first one opened in 2021 in the South Caucasus by the football club FC Internazionale Milano, and the Juventus Academy opened in 2023 in Tsalenjikha.
