Inter skipper Lautaro Martinez was
find 5,000 euros for using blasphemous language after a match
against Juventus on February 16, the Italian Soccer Federation
(FIGC) said Monday.
The Argentina striker, 27, avoided a suspension by a plea
bargain in which he plead guilty to taking the Lord's name in
vain after the loss to the Serie A leaders' arch-rivals.
In the past, Juve and Italy goalkeeping great Gianluigi Buffon
has been among others fallen foul of the blasphemy norms.
