Stefania Camboni, an Italian woman
found dead at home at the upmarket Roman beach resort of Fregene
Thursday morning, was killed with 15 stab wounds, including to
the abdomen and a deep stab to the throat, police said.
The Civitavecchia Prosecutor's Office, led by Alberto Liguori,
is proceeding for homicide.
The investigations have revealed that the woman most likely knew
the killer: there are no signs of forced entry or missing
objects or money from the house.
The woman's son, who found the body, and his partner were
questioned.
The prosecutor's office is checking whether the family had
financial problems or disputes related to these.
