A meeting between Danish and Italian institutions, research centres, companies and experts from the pharmaceutical industry took place at the Italian Ambassador's Residence in Copenhagen. The aim of the meeting was to identify and promote possible collaborations, particularly with regard to artificial intelligence applications in the pharmaceutical sector.
The round tables saw the participation and contribution of various representatives of institutions and companies from the two countries; the discussion took place on various topics, such as supercomputers, the use of artificial intelligence and biobanks, while also proposing concrete solutions for building lasting bilateral relations between the companies in the field of innovation and research. The importance of the collaboration needed to strengthen and speed up the outcomes of research and innovations by improving the data/artificial intelligence connection and the special role of academia was also emphasised.
