Pope Francis made a surprise visit to
St. Peter's Basilica Thursday, Vatican sources said.
Francis, 88, is recovering from life-threatening pneumonia and
has not been appearing in public, but on Wednesday briefly
received the visiting British royals Charles and Camilla,
wishing them well on their 20th wedding anniversary.
They wished him a speedy recovery.
After 38 days in hospital Francis recently embarked on a
tow-month long convalescence.
The Vatican said this week that he may perform some duties at
Easter,
