Australian Kaden Groves, the
26-year-old Alpecin Deceuninck rider, won the sixth stage of the
Giro d'Italia, Potenza-Naples, the longest at 227 km, in a
sprint finish Thursday.
Danish Mad Pedersen retained the pink jersey.
The stage was 'neutralised' after a multiple crash on rain-slick
asphalt about halfway along and all intermediate points were
scrubbed, with just the final result counting.
